September 20, 2022 - Alice, an all-electric aircraft successfully performs the series of taxi tests. This type of test is done before its official flight. It is critical since it served as an evaluation of aircraft, these include basic ground handling, braking, control effectiveness, trim settings, and engine cooling.
THE FUTURE OF ALICE
The company Cape Air signed a letter of intent to purchase 75 aircraft wanting to become the first Caribbean electric airline. The company Global Crossing Airlines (GlobalX) has also ordered 50 aircraft and is expected to begin its service this coming 2027. The transportation company DHL announced that they also ordered 12 aircraft (cargo version) to utilize to shuttle priority packages from major hubs to smaller locations for transfer into vans for final delivery.
